What It’s Like to live near Manila Bay

Have you ever considered living a life in our country’s busiest capital city - Manila?

Some say that’s being a city residence is not easy. But let me show you that it’s a very good place to live. We will discover the city’s great attractions and historical monuments. Above all, we will see why living in the city could be the most endearing place to stay, especially near the Manila Bay.

Travelling around the city would definitely make your jaw drop in awe. Those dazzling and enormous skyscrapers towering the sky when viewed on manila bay is a sure eye candy. Even when viewed in broad day light or even at night. The pictures below show how magnificent the views are.

Aside from those towers in bay view, another plus of living in the city is its Historical Parks and Monuments.

Rizal Park is the monumental remembrance of our country’s National Hero Dr. Jose Rizal. It was the place where he is executed for the country’s freedom revolution from the Spaniard’s Colonialism. It is open for public viewing and can be a venue for family picnics and a great attraction for visitors from the nearby cities and provinces.

One of the oldest and historic place is the walled city of Intramuros. It was the centerpiece of Spanish Manila. Its walls were built 400 years ago and stand still until today. Inside those walls are many other artifacts and evidences of historical events of the city.

Other related parks are the National Museum; San Agustin Church; Malate Church; and Rajah Suleiman Plaza.

Another perk of living near or along the manila bay is the chance to shop at one of its largest mall - SM Mall of Asia.

If you want to relax and relieve your stress, there are Entertainment Parks and Establishments near the bay. Surely, you will enjoy the underwater water view inside the Manila Ocean Park. There are many other attractions inside that modern and large aquarium.

Some  interesting and very entertaining stops are also accessible near the manila bay such as  the following: Cultural Center of the Philippines; PAGCOR;  and the chains of bars and hubs.

With all those beautiful and exceptional sites and historical landmarks, living in the city will not be complete without the majestic sunset view in Manila Bay.

You may say that is hard to live there, and yes it is! But I have a good news for you! You may not know that there are great and affordable condos in Manila Bay.  Living in the city is now possible! In spite of the high cost of living, some local accommodation and hotels offers very inexpensive condo units. May it be just for a vacation or even for permanent residency. So what are you waiting for?
